#BlushVoxBox Influesnter

I received the #BlushVoxBox to test out the products a lot of brides/ wedding goers use!

Here is what is in the box!

Pantene Shampoo and conditioner: Both of these smell like coconut and make my hair feel super soft after using them! I recommend! You can find these at any drug store! PS: the conditioner...a little goes a long way!

Simple Micellar make up wipes! These are amazing at removing make up! I was impressed. They do not smell either and I have sensitive skin and these did not burn my face off! They also are the right wetness and are not over powering. They have also been nice to my skin and I have not broken out from these!!

Ardell Natural False Lashes: I have only tried false lashes once before so this should be fun trying these out!

Secret Clinical Strength in Lavendar. I honestly do not like the smell of this, and it is gel which I am not the biggest fan of. However, it does work good at keeping me dry throughout the day. And the smell does linger away which is nice :)

Homemade Beef Ravioli Recipe

Hey guys! If you are looking for a new recipe for your family, definitely give this a try! It was a lot easier than I was expecting! This made enough for two people plus some left overs. I had left over meat mixture which I just froze for next time. If you have a bigger family, I would double the dough recipe. I had most ingredients on hand, however I had to go get some cheese.

What you need:

Ingredients: dough
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs

Add all ingredients together, mix well. Place in mixer or knead by hand for 8-10 minutes.
*when adding eggs, make a hole in center of flour/salt mixture
let stand covered for 20-30 minutes

brown beef (I used 92% lean ground beef)

Seasoning for meat
1/2 tsp. of: Onion powder, garlic powder
1 tsp. of Italian seasonings
1/2 Cup mozzarella, ricotta, and Parmesan/ Romano cheese
(add more or less to your liking)

add all to meat mixture after meat is cooked and drained. should form a paste like consistency where you can make a ball of mixture

Split dough in half
roll out on floured surface until desired thickness ( I made mine pretty thin)

cut extra dough off as needed, make sure you have 2 pieces the same size. add about 1 Tbsp. of meat mixture, form into ball and place in center of dough. place meat about 1/2 inches apart. Add dough on top, cut pieces between meat. Use water to help adhere dough together. Seal together using a fork.

Cook in boiling water for about 5 minutes or until the ravioli is floating.
Enjoy with your favorite sauce!

#ExtraordinaryHair First Impressions!

Hey guys! Today I received a sample from L'Oreal Paris from Influenster for review purposes! Here is a video of my review! :)

I have used L'Oreal products in the past and I am pretty pleased with them so I was super excited to try this out!

I received the L'Oreal Extraordinary Oil shampoo, conditioner and oil serum. This system contains argan, chamomile, coconut, amla, soja and sunflower oils.

I know your thinking that's way to much and my hair will look like an oily mess! However, that is not the case at all! The shampoo has a strong scent. It isn't real girly smelling and it isn't too manly smelling, but it does smell nice!

Here is my hair before I used these products. I had it curled, hair sprayed and then I worked out at the gym so it went through a lot today!

Before!

I got my hair wet and used the shampoo and left it in my hair for about a minute or two. This shampoo is an oily consistency and has a pretty strong smell. It does lather up after a few minutes of working it into the hair. At first I thought my hair felt really oily on the top of my head, and I was wondering if all the shampoo pooled in that area or if I had too much product. However, once i rinsed it out it rinsed easily and did not feel oily anymore.

I then used the conditioner, which is a creamy consistency and does not smell as strong as the shampoo did. It was recommended on the bottle to leave in the hair for 1-3 minutes. I left mine in for 3 minutes. Before I rinsed it, my hair felt already soft and smooth, which is a good sign from a conditioner! Once I rinsed my hair it felt super soft and smooth! I was pleased!

Once I was done in the shower, I put my hair in a towel to dry for a few minutes before I combed it. Usually if my hair is curled it is really tangly and harder to comb out. However, I noticed it was smoother and it combed with ease.

After I combed my towel dried hair, I applied the serum. This can be applied to the hair before shampooing which I will try and update you on that. I used a little bit because a little goes a long way with oil serums. I have tried oil serums in the past and a lot of them leave my hands covered in oil and its a mess! However, I noticed this stuff does not do that! It left a little residue but nothing like I have experienced in the past!

I then dried my hair with a hairdryer and the brushed it out.

Let me tell you my hair is super soft and so smooth! This stuff is awesome for just a first time use! It's been a few hours now and the smell is still lingering in my hair. It isn't as strong as when it was wet, but it still is there!

 after

I highly recommend this stuff! If you want to just try one of them, I would probably go for the conditioner! It left my hair feel really soft and smooth and doesn't have that strong of a scent if your sensitive to smells! The serum is also great and I really like it for the fact that it did not make my hands super oily!

Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream Review

Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream is great for dry skin during the winter! I received a free sample of this from Influenster to review for you guys! All opinions are my own and are honest!

Here is the sample! It is the perfect size for traveling. It is not too liquidy and is not too solid, it is the perfect texture. This lotion goes on great! There is no greasy residue and it absorbs into the skin very quick. I hate waiting for lotion to dry, specially on my hands, it is the worst! This stuff if very light weight and makes your skin feel really soft! I would recommend getting this. I feel it would work great if you have sensitive skin also. Let me know your thoughts on this lotion!

Thanks for reading :)

Here is a video of my VoxBox.

JingleVoxBox

All products are listed below.

I received two boxes in the mail, and they both fit inside my tiny mail box :)

I received this Sally Hansen nail polish in the color Violet Voltage. The voxbox was a prize for being a #influensterChamp. I think I got this for doing a Sally Hansen voxbox a few months ago.

The main box contained more goodies :)

The back of the card has descriptions of the products and also where I can buy the products at and how much they retail for. The first product is the Biscoff Cookie's

Since 1932 Lotus Biscoff Speculoos have been Europe's favorite cookie with coffee, which is a totally true statement :) My box came with three of these.

This is a 24 hour waterproof eyeliner in the shade dark brown by NYC Color. I have done the back of the hand water test and this stuff does stay put. I usually go for dark brown eye liners, but this color is really pretty and it is dark.

I have never tried false lashes so this will be an experience :)

This stuff leaves my hands very moisturized, which is much needed during the winter months

I have used Pure Ice since my elementary school days, so this is a staple brand. The color of this polish is called Home Run and looks very pretty on. Perfect for the winter.

Last, but not least is a coupon for free tater tots! I'm so excited to get these. I haven't had tater tots in a very long time. Update: I redeemed my coupon and as expected the tots were good! :) I have had this brand in the past, and honestly, I think it is the only brand I've had for tater tots. I bake these in the oven and they turn out crispy and perfect! :)

Curel Itch Defense- First Impressions #Curel #Influenster

Hey guys!

Today I received another VoxBox from Influenster.com! If you don't know what Influenster is, it's a website that is totally free all you need is an email and you get to review products. If you are active enough on the website, you can get picked to do a survey and then they can send you free products to review. This is my second VoxBox. This time it is lotion! I received the Cruel Itch Defense Spray lotion and a sample body wash.

My initial thought of this product is it would be really liquidy since it is in an aerosol spray like the sunscreens you can buy, however that is not the case! It is a lot thicker than I was expecting!

So before I even sprayed this on my skin, I wanted to know what was so special about this product and what was in it. This product has ceramides, which are fatty molecules found on the surface of the skin to help keep the skin cells together. So this could explain why this lotion is more pricey compared to others.

(I sprayed too much!)

It does have a slight scent, it smells like orange to me, but I think every Cruel product has this scent so it did not bother me. However, after it was on the skin for a few minutes, the orange smell went away and it just smelled like regular lotion, nothing like Bath and Body Works!

After I first applied the spray and rubbed it into my legs, I had some irritation from shaving the day before and it kind of irritated that a bit, however most lotion does that to me so this wasn't a huge issue. The product claims to cool the skin, however I found it only did this for a few seconds after I rubbed it in as it was drying. This cooling effect will probably relieve itchy skin, however my skin is not itchy at the moment so I cannot test for this!

However, once the product dried, my legs and arms felt really moisturized and smooth which is a plus!

The bottle version of this lotion is $4.97 at Walmart and the spray version is $8.99 at Target.

I am not a huge fan of spray lotions because they can be messy and get everywhere. So this product to me isn't worth the money for the spray. I still have to rub it in my legs just like any other lotion. If I was buying this product, I would save a few dollars and just buy the pump version!

I also received a sample of the body wash. It smells similar to the spray, however after using it it smelled like soap. My first thoughts of this product is it did not do anything different than any other body wash I have tried. It retails for about $6 at Target, so I would save the few extra dollars and just buy another body wash. Maybe the long term effects of this are better compared to other body washes but at first glance I wasn't impressed.

I received this product complimentary to review from Influenster. If you want to review free products click the link below! Thanks for reading! :)

Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs #ABLChallenge #SallyHansen #Influenster First Impression

I received a coupon from influenster.com to try out Sally Hansen's Airbrush Legs. I initially thought this product was a tanning lotion, you know the ones that gradually get tan over time, well when I went to my local Target, I discovered that it was actually a make up for your legs. Like a foundation for your legs. I do have a tan from a recent vacation, so the color I got is Medium. There are several shades to choose from. It also comes in a spray or a lotion, I got the lotion.

When I first applied it it seemed very dark, however once I blended it out it applied very evenly and well.

I applied it at 9am and it lasted all day long, including a trip to the gym.

This was my first application of the product. I noticed I did not get it between my toes very well. It did not oxidize throughout the day and did not fade. It did not get onto furniture or my clothes, which is good.

When I showered in the evening it came off very easy with soap and water.

The only con I found the first day is it did not cover my scar on my leg very well. It did make it less notice but did not completely make it disappear. Maybe I need to apply more product?

If you would like to try this product here is a coupon for $2 off! Let me know if you would like a video review of this product!
